Updated: Nov 8, 2021

Tanya D. Woods, Executive Director of the Westside Justice Center

The Westside Justice Center was very excited to find out this morning that our own fearless leader, Tanya D. Woods, has been named among the 2020 cohort of the Cultivate: Women of Color in Leadership award. Cultivate is administered by the Crossroads Fund, Chicago Foundation for Women, Woods Fund of Chicago, and the Chicago Community Trust. According to their website, "Cultivate seeks to build a cadre of emerging women of color leaders engaged in social, economic, and racial justice movements and whose collective voice and power can be leveraged to realize a shared vision of the Chicago region’s future." 2019 has been a year of stunning growth for Westside Justice Center, and we cannot wait to see what 2020 brings with Tanya D. Woods at the helm.
